Online training program description
Prerequisites:
LLN Level 1 or greater, access to a computer with Internet, have basic computer skills, be 18 years of age or older, ability to provide 100 points if ID for your course at an RTO later.
What is included in the training?
The whole course represents requirements of Unit of competency CPCCLDG3001A Licence to perform dogging.
The online training part covers knowledge (theory and calculations) requirements which can be easily achieved by suitable candidates.
Practical training must be undertaken at an RTO (Registered Training Organisation) which offers the above-mentioned unit, upon verification of your achieved knowledge level and any required training top-up.

Besides the introduction, the training contains the following lessons:
- WHS Legislation part
- Plan job
- Select and inspect equipment
- Prepare site and equipment
- Perform task
- Shut down job and clean up
Requirements:
To successfully complete the training, you will need to learn all topics and pass all quizzes including the final, timed quiz.
Achievement:
Upon successfully completing the training course at an RTO, you will have sufficient knowledge and skills that are required to:
- Assess a task as a whole
- Implement correct hazard control measures
- Assess the load that is to be lifted
- Identify slinging technique requirements
- Select and inspect correct lifting equipment for the load/task
- Apply slinging techniques
- Guide the crane operator to move the load
- Ensure safe load movement
- Land the load, and
- Shut down the job.
