Online training and testing program description
Prerequisites are:
LLN Level 1 or greater, access to a computer with Internet, have basic computer skills, be 18 years of age or older, ability to provide 100 points if ID for your course at an RTO later.
What is included in the training?
The training represents the requirements of Unit of competency RIIHAN301E Operate Elevating Work Platforms (boom length under 11 metres).
The online training covers knowledge (theory and calculations) requirements.
Practical training must be undertaken at an RTO (Registered Training Organisation) which offers the above-mentioned unit, upon verification of your achieved knowledge level and any required training top-up.
What will you be learning about?
Besides the introduction, the training contains the following lessons:
- Plan and prepare for operating an elevating work platform
- Operate elevating work platform in line with established requirements to complete work activity
- Conduct housekeeping activities
Requirements:
To successfully complete the training, you will need to learn all topics and pass the quiz.

Upon successfully completing the training course at an RTO, you will have sufficient knowledge and skills that are required to:
Plan and prepare for operating an elevating work platform, operate elevating work platform in line with established requirements to complete work activity and conduct housekeeping activities.
